Women are considered to play an important role in the success of Nitish Kumar’s politics in Bihar. Nitish Kumar had also promised to ban liquor in a women’s program before the 2015 Bihar Assembly elections. Due to government schemes like Nitish Kumar’s Jeevika Yojana, Cycle Yojana, women have been getting votes in large numbers time and again.
But after Nitish Kumar’s statement regarding alleged sex education, once again strange comments of Nitish Kumar have been heard in the Assembly. On population control, Nitish Kumar had said such a thing in the assembly itself that there was an uproar for several days. At that time BJP had created a lot of noise, but Nitish Kumar got the support of everyone from Tejashwi Yadav to Dimple Yadav.
Why does Nitish Kumar doubt the understanding of women?
As soon as the proceedings of Bihar Assembly started, the opposition members reached the well. Speaker Nand Kishore Yadav was repeatedly appealing to the members to go to their places and speak, but the uproar continued – then Nitish Kumar stood up and told the opposition members that whatever their demands had already been fulfilled. So, there is no point in creating ruckus.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was giving a statement on the budget. He was saying, if you sit and listen to the whole thing, then you will feel fine. But no one was ready to listen. Nitish Kumar tried his best to convince the members from his side. He said, the government has already increased the limit of reservation after caste census, which has been banned by the Patna High Court. The government has reached the Supreme Court against the decision of the High Court.
Nitish Kumar also told that a letter has been written to the Central Government on behalf of Bihar Government to include it in the Ninth Schedule. Therefore, there is no point in creating an uproar on this matter.
Then Nitish Kumar accused Lalu Yadav’s party that RJD did not promote women after 2005. When RJD MLA Rekha Devi tried to respond to Nitish Kumar’s allegation, he got furious.
In fact, Rabri Devi was the Chief Minister of Bihar till 2005. She became the Chief Minister for the first time in 1997 due to Lalu Yadav going to jail in the fodder scam. Like Nitish Kumar, JDU leader Lalan Singh has also commented. Regarding Rabri Devi, Lalan Singh has said that a thing like budget is beyond his understanding. She doesn’t know how to sign, what will she say on the budget. Lalan Singh, who has been the president of JDU, is currently a minister in the central government.
When the opposition MLAs started shouting in the House, Nitish Kumar also started saying, all of you are wailing, wailing…wailing! An angry Lal Nitish Kumar lashed out at RJD MLA Rekha Devi.
They started saying, ‘Hey, you are a woman… you don’t know anything… where do these people come from, have they done anything? After 2005, it is we who have promoted women… Listen quietly, we are speaking now.
After all, why does Nitish Kumar doubt the understanding of women? Why did Nitish Kumar go to meet Sonia Gandhi along with Lalu Yadav to unite the opposition? Sonia Gandhi is also a woman. Then Nitish Kumar would also be doubting the understanding of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman – but after the gift given to Bihar in the general budget, aren’t they tired of praising him?

During the ongoing discussion on the budget in both houses of the Parliament, Mallikarjun Kharge said in the Rajya Sabha that this time the government has given only two states in the budget, the rest have not got anything.
