A new revelation has come to light in the case of IAS probationer Pooja Khedkar. A case is going on against him for getting an IAS job by showing fake disability and caste documents. The hospital which issued him the disability certificate has denied any wrongdoing. Besides, a new twist has emerged in the divorce case of his parents.
Whatever documents Pooja Khedkar submitted to the institute to pass the UPSC exam is being investigated. During this time, during different interviews, he had claimed about the divorce of his parents. During the investigation of this case, it was found that his claim was true but the divorce was only on-paper. After this, both of them were living together and even her father Dilip Khedkar has built many properties in the name of Pooja’s mother Manorama Khedkar.

disability certificate case of
Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital, run by PCMC i.e. Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation of Pune city, had issued a certificate of disability to Pooja Khedkar in August 2022. He had applied for disability certification for his left knee joint in 2022.
Many departments in the hospital examined him. After this, a certificate was issued to him in August 2022, in which it was said that he had seven percent disability in his left knee joint. The district authority had also said that if any irregularity is found, a case will be registered. It was also said that if any racket is found in this then action will be taken.
The hospital clarified that Locomotor Disability Certificate was issued to Pooja Khedkar as per the rules. Also the hospital authority said, “But this certificate will not be helpful in getting any facility in education or job. This certificate has no importance.”
Pooja’s parents divorced, but only on paper
Pooja Khedkar is also accused of seeking OBC reservation and during her mock interview, she had claimed that her parents were divorced. The Central Government had ordered an investigation against him in this matter, and asked to find out whether his parents were really divorced.

Pune Police found in its investigation that Dilip Khedkar and Manorama Khedkar had filed a divorce petition in a family court in Pune in 2009. Both the children (Pooja and Piyush) were said to be living with their mother. The Family Court had approved the divorce of both of them on June 25, 2010. However, the twist here is that even after divorce, Dilip and Manorama were living together.
Pooja Khedkar’s parents were living in a bungalow in Baner area of Pune, which is in the name of Manorama Khedkar. Dilip Khedkar is a part of the house as a member and Manorama’s husband. Dilip Khedkar was a candidate from Ahmednagar South seat in the recent Lok Sabha elections, who had mentioned Manorama as his wife in his affidavit. He had also disclosed property and assets in his wife’s name. Pune Police also discovered that Manorama and Dilip Khedkar had participated in some public functions as husband and wife.
