You must have often heard stories about sniper guns. Which kills the target by shooting from a great distance. But now China has made a sniper grenade launcher. Through this, anything can be targeted up to a distance of 600 meters.

The name of this gun is LG5/QLU-11. Actually it is an anti-materiel rifle/grenade launcher. China has been using it for many years. This gun has been made by Norinco company. If this gun is mounted on a bipod i.e. a two-legged stand, then its weight is 12.9 kg.

Grenades travel at a speed of 1000 feet per second
If mounted on a tripod the weight increases to 23 kg. The length of its gun is 48.2 inches. That means about four feet. It uses 40X53mm HV and 35x32mm SR grenades. It is semi-automatic. After coming out of it, the grenade moves towards the target at a speed of 1000 feet per second.
Can fire using different types of drum magazines
However, its accurate firing range is 600 meters. But the shells can go up to 1000 meters or even 2000 meters. It also depends on wind and weather. If 40X53mm HV shells are fitted then a drum magazine of 4 to 15 rounds is fitted. If 35x32mm SR grenade is to be fitted then drum magazines of 3,5 and 7 rounds are required.

If R100 grenades are installed, only a three-round drum magazine is required. Its range then remains 600 meters. But a perfect target. China has made this gun inspired by America’s Barrett XM109 anti-materiel rifle.
