SP President Akhilesh Yadav, in a special conversation with Aaj Tak, has raised questions on the budget and attacked the central government. Akhilesh says that this is a government save budget. Akhilesh also said that this government is not going to run, it is going to fall. Don’t know when it will fall. This is not a majority government. You have kept people connected by giving something. The public is watching all this. The government has nothing new. This government increased inflation and unemployment.
Can RLD Chief Jayant Chaudhary rejoin the opposition alliance? On this question, the SP President said, how can I know whose will is what in politics? Some people are free as per their wish. He has the freedom to go anywhere. Who will come to me? What do I have to offer? There is no budget, no ministerial post. What can we give? People go only where there is some profit. We don’t have any benefits.
‘Now there is no communal issue left’
SP chief targeted the government in the name plate issue on shops in Kanwar Marg in UP. Akhilesh said, I want to thank the Supreme Court. Harmony won, congratulations for that. BJP keeps trying to spread hatred and create division among the people. We are happy that this kind of discrimination is not visible anywhere among the public. People seemed to live together and cooperate with each other. Because employment connects each other. BJP does not like this nor is it able to understand this. That’s why he got these placards installed. The placards were removed – this is the biggest victory. The government is making this effort because it no longer has any communal related issue left. The communal issue is over. The lamp of communalism is fluttering. We are trying to get some benefit out of it at the last moment. I have full confidence and the kind of environment there is, BJP people will not be successful.
‘We are ready to cooperate’
On the internal discord in the UP government and the monsoon offer, Akhilesh said that I am saying this only when I can see something. I can hear it. We cannot bring any change, but if someone is ready for change, we are ready to support him.

Health services stopped. It is heard that now drones will be used. Go to government hospital or railway station, you will find crowd there. People are waiting for treatment. How did Delhi help UP? UP has been left far behind. Only one percent FDI has come to UP in the last financial year.
Akhilesh further said, you were building a smart city earlier. Today the government has to make medicines for cancer treatment cheaper. But why are they not running the Cancer Institute built in UP?
Lakhs of farmers have committed suicide…
Akhilesh gave a statement regarding farmers. Akhilesh said, farmers are committing suicide in the country. One can imagine that lakhs of farmers have committed suicide. Then you say that the farmer is happy. Showed a dream for you that you will double your income. You are giving an honor of five hundred rupees to the farmers. What benefit is Rs 500 providing in today’s inflation? Are you also benefiting the farmer who does share farming? He is not being given respect. Today, along with farmers, the population of sharecropper farmers and laborers is high. What is the government giving him?
Decisions of 10 years have increased unemployment…
Akhilesh said that when the BJP government was formed for the first time, his people celebrated a lot. When the government was formed for the second time, even more people celebrated. But when the government was formed for the third time, there was not that much happiness. This is a similar budget. This is the 11th budget of his government. The happiness and enthusiasm that should have come is not visible. This budget seems to be more than less. The budget has been ruined. Especially the people of UP are disappointed. The way UP was looking at it, it would benefit the most. There will be no discrimination. It is a double engine government. Your decisions of last 10 years have increased unemployment. The employment you want to provide today is not respectable.
Akhilesh said, you are saying that you will get a job worth Rs 5,000. You are saying this when government employees are talking about implementing the recommendations of the Eighth Pay Commission. Salaries and facilities should increase according to inflation. You increased unemployment during the 10 years of government. Now they are not even able to provide respectable employment.
UP government has not asked for anything…
Akhilesh said, if you give a special package to the capital of Andhra Pradesh, you will give a package of expressway to Bihar. Will provide flood control package. UP’s name has not been taken even once, so the sitting MPs will definitely understand. I think the UP government would not have asked for anything. If the demand had been made then the Delhi government would not have disappointed them. Bihar has got the package because they have to run the government by taking cooperation from the MPs of Bihar.
