What did Prime Minister Modi say about the budget?

After the presentation of the budget, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation. PM said, this budget will empower the middle class, poor, villages and farmers. Along with this, it will bring unlimited opportunities for the youth.

PM Modi said, 25 crore people have come out of poverty in the last 10 years. This budget is for the empowerment of the new middle class. PM Modi said that a big focus of this budget is the farmers of the country. After the world’s largest scheme for grain storage, we are now going to create Vegetable Production Clusters. In the last 10 years, the NDA government has ensured that the poor and middle class continue to get tax relief. In this budget too, a big decision has been taken to reduce income tax and increase standard deduction. TDS rules have also been simplified. Every taxpayer is going to get additional savings from these steps. In this budget, a new scheme has been announced to increase ease of credit for MSMEs.
