In Budget 2024, Nirmala Sitharaman said that youth will be given training in top companies of the country, for which these youth will be given a monthly allowance of Rs 5000 every month. This monthly allowance will be for 12 months under the Prime Minister Internship Scheme and youth can do internship in these companies only for 12 months. However, the top companies of the country will have to train 1 crore youth in the next five years.
