Jammu and Kashmir is set to witness a crucial political contest in the upcoming assembly elections, with 909 candidates vying for 90 assembly seats.
A total of 1,127 candidates submitted their nomination papers but the nominations of 164 candidates were rejected while 54 candidates withdrew their nomination papers.
