Along with this, 9 people of the same family died in an Israeli attack on an apartment in central Gaza. The dead include five innocent children and two women. One of the women who died in this attack was also a pregnant woman.

This is the first time in the last 25 years that a child has been found infected with polio in Gaza. In such a situation, a polio vaccination campaign has been announced.
According to the World Health Organization, the polio vaccination campaign will begin in Gaza from Sunday. This three-day campaign, starting on September 1, will cover the central, southern and northern parts of Gaza. Rick Pepperkorn, a senior WHO official, said that 6 lakh 40 thousand children will be vaccinated in this vaccination campaign to be run in Gaza.
The special thing is that Israel has agreed to a ceasefire for the polio campaign in Gaza. The ceasefire will be in effect from 6 am to 3 pm local time on the day of the polio campaign. According to news agency Reuters, this vaccination campaign will be monitored by the Palestinian Health Ministry, World Health Organization, UNICEF and UNRWA. 2 thousand health workers will participate in it.
