In Ghaziabad, Kanwariyas vandalized a Bolero vehicle on Monday (July 29). Police was written on this vehicle. This case is of Duhai Kavad road of Madhuban Bapudham police station area of Ghaziabad. Now DCP City has suspended 5 policemen for negligence in this matter. Action has been taken against 2 sub-inspectors, 1 constable and 2 traffic constables of civil police.
On Monday, near Duhai area on Delhi-Meerut Highway NH-58, a Bolero car had come on the route fixed for Kanwariyas, it had police written on it. The vehicle had hit the Kanwariya. There was a huge uproar after this. The Kanwadis had shattered the Bolero with sticks.
There was a police sticker on the Bolero. However, the police had said that the vehicle was private. According to the police, this car was running under Power Corporation Vigilance. On Monday morning, when a driver named Avnish Tyagi was driving the car, he took the car on the route reserved for Kanwariyas.
According to ACP Abhishek Srivastava, a case of Kanwariyas being hit by a vehicle came to light at 10:15 am on Monday near Duhai Metro Station of Madhuban Bapudham police station area. After this, angry Kanwariyas vandalized the car. Car driver Avnish Tyagi unauthorizedly entered the lane reserved for Kanwariyas. The car has been taken into custody by the police. The driver has also been detained.
