Today is National Space Day. India is celebrating its first National Space Day today. This is because last year on this day our country had achieved what many big countries like America, China were never able to do. Last year on this day the country’s Chandrayaan reached the surface of the South Pole of the Moon, that is why India is celebrating its first National Space Day today. The reality is that we are capable of doing in space what other big countries are not able to do, but even today conducting a government recruitment exam in our country becomes a big challenge. As if launching and landing a Naukriyaan is more difficult than Chandrayaan.

When the UP Police recruitment exam is held again in Uttar Pradesh, there is competition between 80 unemployed candidates for each post. There are 10 shifts in 5 days and an average of 4 lakh 80 thousand unemployed youth are giving the constable recruitment exam in each shift. Perhaps this will be the first exam where 20 thousand 500 suspicious candidates are already identified and kept under surveillance to prevent paper leak or any other kind of fraud. The government knows that if lakhs of people come, there will be problems, that is why exam special trains are being run especially for the candidates. In the five-day police recruitment exam, the government is providing free travel facility in roadways buses by showing the admit card as a pass.

Only 1.25% people will get jobs

All this is happening for one job. Where only 1.25% of the total 48 lakh unemployed people will get a job. The conditions under which the youth go out for this one job is also a test. 48 lakh candidates, 60244 vacancies i.e. 80 unemployed people are claiming for the job of a constable i.e. only 1.25% of the 48 lakh people will get the job. If everything goes well.

There is reservation in recruitments but no reservation works while going to give recruitment exam. Everyone enters the unreserved compartment and goes to their respective exam centres. These are the youth whose dreams of becoming a constable in Uttar Pradesh were crippled by the paper leak mafia in the month of February. But then they stood up. Those who ask what is the unemployment rate? How many are getting jobs? For now, they should guess from the crowd that gathers at the railway station when a recruitment exam is held, whose number keeps increasing due to the recruitments coming out after a long time and the rigging that happens in the recruitments.

exam

From the railway station floor to the waiting hall, the desire for a government job is increasing, this scene was seen at many places. These are also the youth who have somehow reached the general compartment of the train to give the exam. They know that they cannot afford any hotel, lodge, guest house, so they spread a sheet on the floor at the station and wait for Friday morning while reading a book. With the hope that this time neither the paper is leaked nor there is cheating, just get this job soon.

When and how many youth participated in police recruitment?

Guess how many youths from UP are participating in police recruitment? In June 2018, 17 lakh people participated in the recruitment of 41520 constables. That means 40 people are in contention for one post. In January 2019, 19 lakh 38 thousand unemployed youths participated in the 49,568 constable recruitment exam, that means an average of 39 people compete for one job. Then in November 2021, about 7 lakh youths participated for 9534 posts of sub-inspector, that means 73 people are in contention for one recruitment of sub-inspector. Now in August 2024, 48 lakh people are in contention for the recruitment of 60244 constables, that means 80 people are in contention for one job.

This time it is true that special trains were also run for the candidates and they also got a chance to travel to the exam centre cities for free in roadways buses by showing their admit cards. When the Lok Sabha elections were being held in April-May, it was claimed that the failure to stop paper leaks was one of the reasons behind the BJP losing seats in UP. By-elections are to be held on ten seats in Uttar Pradesh. The government is working hard to conduct a leak-proof exam. This news is not just related to Uttar Pradesh but the entire country.

Youth from other states are also participating

6 lakh 30 thousand 481 youth from 26 states are participating in UP Police Recruitment. Most of them are from Bihar. After that, youth from Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Punjab, Maharashtra are appearing for the constable recruitment exam. This time not only 48 lakh youth are appearing for the exam but the Uttar Pradesh government and police are also facing the test for five days. If even a single case of paper leak, cheating, rigging, mistake comes to light, then the opposition will have an opportunity and the unemployed youth will have anger and to avoid both these situations, the Uttar Pradesh government and police have been successful so far on the first day. So far, no claim of paper leak or cheating has come to light from anywhere on the first day of the exam.

Candidates equal to the population of many countries

If you look at the youth participating in UP Police recruitment as the population of some countries of the world, then you will be very surprised. Because the population of Kuwait is 49 lakh and in Uttar Pradesh 48 lakh youth are giving police recruitment exam in five days. If the population of Bhutan is added, then it becomes 48 lakh i.e. the number of people participating in police recruitment exam only in UP. The population of Bulgaria is 6 lakh 30 thousand and so many people are participating in police recruitment in UP from other states only. The number of unemployed youth compared to one job is equal to many countries. Secondly, conducting the exam of such a large number of unemployed youth is a challenge for the UP government.

Strong arrangements of UP government

The Uttar Pradesh government has put in all its effort to ensure that everything is in order this time. This has not been seen in any exam so far. Last time in Uttar Pradesh, 48 lakh students appeared for the exam in 4 shifts in 2 days. That means there were about 12 lakh youth in each shift. This time 48 lakh people are giving the exam in 10 shifts in 5 days. That means there are about 4 lakh 80 thousand youth in each shift. The advantage of this is that at every examination centre, candidates are being allowed inside only after thorough investigation, search and checking. For this reason, the gates are being closed half an hour in advance.

This is probably happening for the first time in the country that an exam is being monitored with so many CCTV cameras. It is reported that the exam is being conducted in 16514 rooms and a total of 17000 CCTV cameras have been installed. That means every room of every exam center is being monitored with CCTV cameras. It is claimed that this time in UP, one camera is monitoring every 24 candidates in the police recruitment exam. They are being monitored from the district and headquarters level.

This problem has been faced earlier in the examination centre that people hide small Bluetooths, which are difficult to even catch, and carry them with them to cheat. This time, to prevent such mistakes, the police have started removing even Kalava and Rakhi.

Caution taken in determining the examination center

Actually, it is claimed that last time the paper was leaked due to the connivance of the employees involved in the transportation of the question paper. Where it is claimed that the paper was taken out by breaking the strong box. But what has been done to prevent this from happening this time. This time, first of all, the recruitment board has taken precaution in determining the examination center. Only government or only aided schools have been made examination centers, that is, no private school has been made a center. Because it is claimed that 70 percent of the reason for the leak of the exam is the examination center. Where there is a possibility of connivance of the employees of the private school.

On the other hand, after the paper reaches the treasury, the responsibility of the officers in different layers has also been fixed. This time, the treasury where the question paper is kept and then reaches the rest of the centers, will be brought there in a government vehicle under the supervision of the sector magistrate and will be deposited back. No examination center has been kept more than 10 kilometers away from the treasury of the district. The wall clock has been installed in every examination center by the Police Recruitment Board itself. A total of 17000 wall clocks have been installed at the examination centers by the Recruitment Board itself so that there is no dispute regarding the time. This time, for the last 20 days, UP Police and STF are constantly monitoring 1,541 such criminals, who have been involved in crimes like paper leak and solver gang for the last 12 years.

This time more than 20 thousand suspicious candidates have already been identified and are being called to the examination center for investigation. Three lakh candidates who did not provide their Aadhaar card number are also being called to the examination center and identified through E-KYC. Despite all this, there are still four more days left for the exam. Will the security circle remain in place in these four days or will someone break it? At present, the government and the police are on their toes, that is why action is being taken against those who spread rumors of paper leak.

UP police is also active on Telegram app

Telegram app, on which claims of paper leak are made before every exam. Similarly, when the game of demanding Rs 20,000 each for providing the police recruitment question paper started on 11 active channels, the UP police immediately became active. On one such channel, UPP Constable, a shocking claim of LEAKED was made. On 15th August, it was written in the share group- ‘ADMIT cards have arrived, whoever wants to buy the paper should message’. It was further written- ‘It is the second shift paper of 23rd, whoever wants the password should open it after making the payment. Both sets of 23rd and 24 are available, whoever wants it can buy it by paying 20,000’.

On August 19, it was written- ‘You will not get even one question paper for free, till now they were giving demos but now that is not free, you are taking everything for free and making it viral, what about what has been bought, what about those who want the uniform, they should message, those who pass time will be blocked.’

The police have registered a case against 11 such Telegram channels spreading rumors of the exam and paper leak, in which the name of former minister and Samajwadi Party leader Yasar Shah is also registered for spreading rumors. Actually, a fraud game of extortion in exchange for giving the paper through QR code is going on on the Telegram channel. The Telegram accounts against which the police have registered a case include upppaper leak 2024, @Venom, Proof of student as well as an account named Aditya Tomar.

If everything goes right, the government will set an example

On one hand, cheating was being done in the name of leaked question paper by creating different groups on different platforms of social media, while on the other hand, the game of spreading rumors of paper leak was going on even before the exam. The big thing is that in the FIR lodged by the UP Police Recruitment Board, it has been said that Samajwadi Party leader Yasar Shah made a misleading claim of paper leak through social media and spread rumors of paper leak. This time, if everything is completed peacefully without paper leak and cheating, then the UP government will set an example. Because till now police recruitment has never been done on so many posts at once.
