The police have arrested four criminals accused of robbing a jewellery shop in Sultanpur. One of the accused, Mangesh Yadav, was killed by the police in an encounter. All the criminals who have been arrested had a bounty of Rs 1 lakh on their heads.

The arrested accused include Arvind Yadav, Durgesh Singh, Vivek Singh and Vinay Shukla. All four were arrested by Sultanpur police on Wednesday. A week ago on August 28, all four had robbed a jewellery shop in Thatheri Bazaar.

Two kilograms of gold jewellery recovered
2 kg 700 grams of diamond studded gold jewellery looted from the jewellery shop has been recovered from the four miscreants. The Bolero vehicle which the miscreants had kept as backup during the robbery on 28 August has also been recovered. The owner of the Bolero, Tribhuvan Kori, has already been arrested after the encounter.

There was a robbery in a jewellery shop a week ago
On August 28, some masked armed criminals robbed a shop named Om Ornament located in Thatheri Bazaar in Sultanpur in broad daylight. During this, the shopkeeper and other people present in the shop were held hostage at gunpoint and the robbery was carried out. It is said that the criminals had committed a robbery worth crores. In this case, the police killed an accused Mangesh Yadav in an encounter.
