The health of many soldiers deteriorated due to food poisoning in BMP 12th Battalion in Bhimnagar, adjacent to the Indo-Nepal border in Supaul, Bihar. Everyone has been admitted for treatment after complaining of vomiting and headache. More than 200 soldiers have become victims of food poisoning.

The sick soldiers have been admitted to Birpur Sub-Divisional Hospital. According to the report, someone had mixed sulfas in the dinner due to which the health of the soldiers deteriorated. Some soldiers have also alleged that an empty packet of Sulfas tablets was found at the spot.
