Two days ago on 24th August in Gonda, two friends standing outside an inter college were kidnapped by some people. The miscreants took both the girls to the jungle. There the accused gang-raped both of them and left them there in a bloody state. Both the victims are minors.
In this case, the family members of the victims had lodged a complaint in the police station. After the case was registered, the police have arrested two accused. According to the FIR, a 13-year-old girl from a village in Khodare police station area had gone to study in a private inter college in the area with her 16-year-old friend on the morning of August 24, but some miscreants kidnapped both of them from outside the school.
The accused had escaped by freeing their hands
When people came to know that the girls had been kidnapped, a search was started. During this, two accused and the two victims were seen coming out of the jungle on the road at Chandradeep Ghat. After coming out of Kubri jungle, all were caught near Hathiyagarh petrol pump. On interrogation, the victim girls told that the accused took them to the jungle and raped them.
A day later the police arrested the accused
When the family members were questioning the girls, both the accused broke free and ran away. Later both were arrested. In a press release sent to the media cell, the police said that a case has been registered under the POCSO Act in Khondre police station on the complaint of the victim’s father. Two accused were arrested on the evening of August 25.
