Now, Vaibhav Suryavanshi has created yet another great record in the world of cricket. He became the youngest player to represent India in the First Division. In the Vijay Hazare Trophy, he represented Bihar against Madhya Pradesh and created this record. Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s current age is 13 years and 269 days and he has broken Ali Akbar’s record. Ali Akbar made his A-list debut for Vidarbha in the 1999/2000 season. His age at that time was 14 years and 51 days.
The first game failed
Vaibhav Suryavanshi didn’t show anything special with the bat as he scored just four off two balls in the first match of the Vijay Hazare Trophy Out after scoring (including four) runs. Bihar, who batted first, scored a total of 196 runs, with captain Shakibul Ghani scoring the highest innings of 50 runs. Thereafter, Madhya Pradesh chased down the target with the help of Rajat Patidar and Harsh Gawli and won by 6 wickets. Harsh scored 83 points and Patidar scored 55 points.
Strong performance in U-19 Asian Cup
Vaibhav Suryavanshi performed well in the Under-19 Asia Cup 2024. He went on to score 176 runs in 5 games in which he scored two half-centuries. He is India’s second-highest run-scorer in the tournament. He managed to win the hearts of everyone with his batting. But his bat failed to deliver in the final over and India had to face defeat by Bangladesh.
