A minor boy allegedly sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl in Bhojpur district of Bihar. Police said on Monday that four people have been arrested in connection with this shameful incident, which also includes the accused boy.
Giving information, a police officer told PTI that Bhojpur police had earlier registered a case to investigate the crime that took place in Gundi village at around 9 pm on Sunday night. Now investigators are examining the documents of the minor boy to find out his exact age.
The police officer further said that on receiving the information, senior police officers immediately reached the spot and took the girl to the district hospital for medical examination. It is alleged that a minor boy sexually assaulted her while playing outside the house.
Bhojpur Superintendent of Police (SP) Pramod Kumar Yadav said that when the girl raised an alarm at the time of the incident, the accused boy ran away from the spot. However, the police is now waiting for the medical examination report.
The police officer said that after the incident, a large number of police forces have been deployed in the village of Kishangarh police station area to prevent any kind of disturbance, because the girl and the accused belong to different communities.
