Floods continue in Bihar. Large areas of Bhagalpur and Munger are experiencing flood damage. In this case, due to the strong flow of the Ganges, many houses and buildings were submerged in the river. A video has surfaced of a two-storey house sinking into the Ganges. It is clearly visible in the video that the entire building merged into the river within 10 seconds.
Let us tell you that during the floods these areas suffered a lot of erosion due to the strong flow of the Ganga. Due to this reason, many villages were submerged in the river. Even today, this erosion continues. First, heavy rains hit Bhagalpur since late night, leading to chaos in the affected areas and camps for victims. In riverine areas, the Ganges flows strongly. Before our eyes we saw many houses blending into the Ganges.
More than 80 roads in NH were flooded and traffic was disrupted due to fallen trees on many roads. The water level of the Ganges has dropped by about 14 centimeters, but the river level is still about one and a half meters above the danger level. Affected by this, many trains passing here have been canceled and some routes have been changed.
People in flood-affected areas are taking shelter in government camps on higher ground. Everything was ruined for them. Meanwhile, erosion in areas along the Ganges continues unabated. During the process of erosion, villages were cut into the Ganges and merged. Today, such scenes are common in flood-stricken areas.
