A murder case in Andhra Pradesh has created a stir across the state. A man came to India from Kuwait to seek revenge from a man who sexually assaulted his daughter in Annamaya district of the state. According to information provided by the police, the youth first murdered the defendant and then returned to Kuwait. The young man admitted the crime on his YouTube channel and claimed that his daughter was sexually abused by a relative. The daughter’s father was identified as Anjaneya Prasad.
Rajampet Divisional Police Officer N Sudhakar said Anjaneya Prasad, who had recently arrived from Kuwait, beat her physically disabled relative P Anjaneyulu (59) to death with an iron rod for allegedly sexually assaulting his daughter.

Narrating the incident in Obravaripalli in Annamaya district, Sudhakar said, “Anjaneya Prasad came to India in the first week of December and murdered her on the night of December 6 Anjaneyulu. After the murder, Prasad returned to Kuwait and posted a video message. He confessed to his crime. Sudhakar said Prasad also said in the video that he killed the young man because the police failed to act on his daughter’s complaint. Police have registered a murder case against Prasad and are conducting raids to arrest him.
Worked in Kuwait for 15 years
Police said Prasad, a resident of Annamaya district, had worked in Kuwait for 15 years and also ran a YouTube channel. He lives in Kuwait with his wife and daughter. But he later left his daughter with his in-laws and sent them money from time to time. A year ago, she left her daughter in the care of her aunt.

The man claimed that his wife’s sister initially took good care of the children but then started making excuses. In this case, when his wife came to Annamaya district from Kuwait, she came to know that her sister’s uncle had sexually abused the girl. Thereafter, the mother and daughter reported the crime to the local police station, but the police allegedly released the defendant after a warning and sent the mother and daughter back.
