In this incident, two police constables including station in-charge Arvind Kujur were injured. The police took strict action and filed a case against 150 people under the Rioting Act. 50 of these were named accused.

Haji Shahzad Ali, whose mansion has been demolished by the Chhatarpur police administration, is the district vice president of Congress. Shahzad’s brother Azad Ali is also a Congress councilor. The luxurious mansion on which the bulldozer was run is worth about 10 crore rupees. This mansion was built in Mastan Shah Baba Colony in an area of ​​more than 11 thousand square feet. Chhatarpur Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Lalit Shakyawar had said that 300-400 people led by religious leaders Syed Haji Ali and Syed Javed Ali had reached the police station to submit a memorandum. They were protesting against Ramgiri Maharaj. Shakyawar said that the crowd suddenly became aggressive and started pelting stones, which continued for about ten minutes, after which the police had to fire tear gas shells to disperse the protesters.

During this, Kotwali in-charge Anil Kujur suffered serious injuries on his hand and head. He is undergoing treatment. Constable Bhupendra Prajapati was also injured. After this incident, police teams patrolled and identified the people involved in stone pelting with the help of CCTV footage and video.

In this case, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav had tweeted and asked senior officials to investigate and take strict action against the accused, after which the administration took action.
