The government has taken strict action against those who created a ruckus in the police station in Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh. Here the accused’s mansion worth 10 crores was razed to the ground with a bulldozer. Along with this, household goods, three cars, a bullet and a scooter were also crushed. In fact, people of other communities had reached the City Kotwali on Wednesday afternoon at around 4 o’clock on the pretext of giving a memorandum. There, stone pelting was done as per a complete plan.
In this incident, two police constables including station in-charge Arvind Kujur were injured. The police took strict action and filed a case against 150 people under the Rioting Act. 50 of these were named accused.
Haji Shahzad Ali, whose mansion has been demolished by the Chhatarpur police administration, is the district vice president of Congress. Shahzad’s brother Azad Ali is also a Congress councilor. The luxurious mansion on which the bulldozer was run is worth about 10 crore rupees. This mansion was built in Mastan Shah Baba Colony in an area of more than 11 thousand square feet. The household goods kept inside the mansion and two Safari cars along with another car, a Bullet and two scooters were also crushed.

Chhatarpur Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Lalit Shakyawar had said that 300-400 people led by religious leaders Syed Haji Ali and Syed Javed Ali had reached the police station to submit a memorandum. They were protesting against Ramgiri Maharaj. Shakyawar said that the crowd suddenly became aggressive and started pelting stones, which continued for about ten minutes, after which the police had to fire tear gas shells to disperse the protesters.
During this, Kotwali in-charge Anil Kujur suffered serious injuries on his hand and head. He is undergoing treatment. Constable Bhupendra Prajapati was also injured. After this incident, police teams patrolled and identified the people involved in stone pelting with the help of CCTV footage and video.
People of a particular community had printed cards to gather people
To gather people to submit the memorandum, people of a particular community had also printed cards, which went viral on social media the next day. In this case, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav had tweeted and asked senior officials to investigate and take strict action against the accused, after which the administration took action.
Before the bulldozer action, the municipality had informed the concerned people about it. An order to vacate the house was issued within 2 hours, but no one removed the belongings. After this, the administration team razed the entire house including the belongings to the ground.

Javed Ali of Anjuman Islamia Committee had said that he and his colleagues had gone to the police station to submit a memorandum, when some people started pelting stones from outside. We do not know who was involved in the stone pelting. When we came out, we were also hit by stones. Javed Ali had said that he appealed to the people to maintain peace and stay inside their homes.
Chhatarpur SP Agam Jain said that people of a particular community had come to the police station to submit a memorandum. Some people had pelted stones. The police had registered an FIR in this case. The peace and order situation in Chhatarpur city is normal. There is no problem anywhere.
A statement from Maharashtra Police came out, in which it was said that a few days ago Ramgiri Maharaj had organized a program in Shah Panchale village of Sinnar taluka of Nashik district, in which he made a comment. Its video went viral on social media. Protests started after his comment.
